Responsibilities
As a Principal QA Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall QA strategy within our Product Line Software, ensuring the highest standards of quality across all software products within our WAMAS product family. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional development teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our QA processes.
- Strategic leadership: You develop and implement a forward-looking QA strategy. You enforce quality standards and best practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Operational management: You oversee daily QA activities, ensure effective testing and integrate QA processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle. You will also monitor quality indicators and identify potential for improvement.
- Team development: You mentor and support our QA engineers, create a culture of quality and continuous improvement and identify training and development potential.
- Collaboration and communication: You will work closely with management, developers and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of quality objectives. You will contribute your expertise to release planning and review meetings and promote a quality-first mindset throughout the organization.
Profile
- Completed education with a focus on computer science, engineering or a similar field (university, university of applied sciences).
- Experience with agile development methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Very good knowledge of Englisch and good German Skills
- Java and TypeScript skills are very welcome.

Possible start date: immediately
We offer you for this position a monthly minimum gross salary (starting level) of €3.843,00 on a full time basis (38.5 hrs/week). The actual salary is calculated on the basis of previous periods of service, qualification, professional experience and the collective agreement.
