System Administrator IT Systems (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated IT professional who can reliably manage complex system landscapes and provide professional support to our customers.

• Installation and administration of Linux, Windows, or AIX systems, depending on the area of assignment
• Software installations as well as system and security updates on the respective operating systems
• Resource and storage management in heterogeneous system environments
• Configuration and operation of DHCP servers
• Backup and restore management for critical systems
• 1st and 2nd level support for international contract customers
• Technical support in customer projects – process-oriented and solution-focused
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Technical coordination with customers and internal stakeholders

Profile

Completed technical IT education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, University) or equivalent qualification.

• Several years of relevant professional experience in system or network administration
• Strong Unix/Linux expertise and solid network administration skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Windows server administration knowledge is an advantage
• Database administration know-how
• Very good command of English
• Strong customer and service orientation with a professional demeanor
• Team spirit and communication skills – clear, cooperative, and audience‑appropriate
• Sense of responsibility and reliability – precise, conscientious, dependable
