Job Description

Responsibilities

 

  • Leading a team of database administrators and BI developers and interface experts
  • Responsibility for the development and implementation of database strategies
  • Planning, execution and monitoring of database migrations and upgrades
  • Development of data warehouse solutions together with the specialist departments
  • Ensuring the high availability and performance of databases
  • Development and implementation of business intelligence solutions
  • Collaboration with specialist departments to identify data requirements
  • Creating reports and dashboards to visualize data
  • Training employees in the use of databases and BI tools
  • Contributing to the development of new products and services

Profile

 

  • Degree in computer science, mathematics or similar.
  • Several years of experience in the administration and development of databases 
  • At least 3 years of management experience as a team leader 
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Qlik Sense
  • Profound knowledge of SQL
  • Good knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Experience in the implementation of cloud services is an advantage
  • ITIL certification is an advantage
  • English from level B2/C1
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Independent and structured way of working desirable

Possible start date: immediately

 

We offer you for this position a monthly minimum gross salary (starting level) of €4.000,00 on a full time basis (38.5 hrs/week). The actual salary is calculated on the basis of previous periods of service, qualification, professional experience and the collective agreement.
